THIS Parish (Ceann tSáile Beag - “Head of the Tide (or ‘Salt Water’)� is so called from its position. Its qualification, Beag, distinguishes it from Kinsale, Co. Cork. The parish yields some interesting cliff names and a few ecclesiastical names of importance.
